Tzu Chi USA
Tzu Chi USA responds to disasters in the U.S., Nepal, Haiti, Sierra Leone, Ecuador and beyond. In 2019, they aided 18,000 people effected by the Camp Fire in Northern California, providing blankets, beds and debit cards. The Taiwan-based non-profit has a U.S. office in Alhambra, California.
ISKCON Food Relief Program
ISKCON Food Relief Program prepares food for people impacted bu natural and man-made disasters and has responded to crises including the wars in Bosnia and Chechnya, the Indian Ocean Tsunami, typhoon Haiyan and Hurricane Katrina. Its U.S. headquarters are in Moundsville, West Va.
United Sikhs’ Sikh Aid
United Sikhs’ Sikh Aid has responded with volunteers, food and other services after hurricanes inTexas, Florida, Puerto Rico and Mexico and wildfires in California. In 2020, United Sikhs says it has provided 1 million meals to those affected by COVID-19. They are based in New York City.
