Flourishing study: Faith is strongly linked to your overall well-being

Harvard University, in partnership with Gallup, Baylor University, and the Center for Open Science, has released early findings from its Global Flourishing Study—a massive, multi-year survey of over 200,000 people across 22 countries. The data confirms what many faith communities have long believed: faith is strongly linked to your overall well-being.

The study found that people who regularly participate in religious worship report higher levels of happiness, life purpose, and financial stability. The research focuses on six domains of human flourishing: life satisfaction, mental and physical health, meaning and purpose, character and virtue, close social relationships, and financial stability.
